Research shows that high-quality teachers have the most direct impact on student success.  Conversely, students who have ineffective teachers for three years lose so much educational experience that they never catch up.  The need for an exceptional and diverse corps of teachers to serve not only E.L. Haynes but schools across DC is evident.  In order to meet this critical need, we had developed the E.L. Haynes Teaching Associates Program. E.L.
