Family Portal Guide

Haynes Herald - Each week the Haynes Herald will be linked to the website as a pdf document. The newest copy, as well as archives of previous Haynes Herald will be available on this site. Every family will also recieve a print copy in the Thursday Express and families can sign up to recieve and email version as well.

Year Round Programs - Information about the Before School, After School, and Intersession Programs, including listings of Intersession classes, when they become available, and who to contact for billing and child subsidy.

Policies - A copy of the Family Handbook as well as specific policies by topic for your reference.

Academic Curriculum - An overview of the academic curriculum, including information on math, reading, writing, science, humanities, and expeditions. Links to specific information for each grade, including ways you can support your student's work at home.

Social Curriculum - A description of the social curriculum at E.L. Haynes, including Responsive Classroom, Second Steps, and Anti-Bullying information and tips for reinforcing these curricula at home.

Family Involvement - Outlines expectations for family involvement and ways to become more involved in the school.

Resources - Links to valuable resources available on the internet to support your child's social, emotional, and academic growth.

Calendar - The official school-year calendar. See the embedded calendar at the bottom of For Our Families for family events and activities.

College Planning - Information and internet resources to help your family plan for college.

Student Gallery - A showcase of student work, featuring student writing, art, classwook, or videos. The Student Gallery is updated approximately every six weeks, and all gallery features are archived.

News - Links to Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and Newsletter sign up as well as press releases and information information about E.L. Haynes in the news.
