PARTNER WITH US
Acumen Solutions has named E.L. Haynes as a non-profit beneficiary of its Annual Race for a Cause 8K run/walk since 2010 and has partnered with us to create and adopt SchoolForce, a groundbreaking data management system. Thanks to a grant from the Toshiba America Foundation, E.L. Haynes offered our first robotics elective in 2011-2012, exposing students to robotics programming and enhancing our STEM curriculum. Through a partnership with Georgetown University, E.L. Haynes students receive one-on-one tutoring in math and reading once a week from college mentors. In 2011, renowned journalist Gwen Iffil visited E.L. Haynes to launch our new partnership with the News Literacy Project (NLP), a national educational program that mobilizes seasoned journalists to help middle and high school students sort fact from fiction in the digital age. To partner with E.L. Haynes, please contact Alexandra Alderman at aalderman@elhaynes.org or 202-667-4446.
