Volunteer/ Voluntario

If you’re an organized, social person looking for more involvement in your child’s classroom, we need you! As Room Parent, your role would be to help coordinate additional support for the teachers, encourage family participation, and help families get to know each other outside of the classroom. Until we move into our Kansas Ave. site, space at our Georgia Ave. building is at a premium!  We realize that parents may be asked to do copies or work on projects that require use of the Professional Development room on the 4th floor.  We ask that parents please only use that space when there are no teacher conferences going on, as to preserve its intended purpose as a meeting space for staff.  For the 10-11 academic year, we hope to have designated space for our much appreciated parent volunteers!
