CODE OF CONDUCT
All coaches, student athletes, and team managers at E.L. Haynes are expected to behave in a manner that is consistent with the school’s code of conduct. Student athletes, including team managers, who represent E.L. Haynes through interscholastic sports, must demonstrate good citizenship at all times.
An important mission of the athletic program is to teach student athletes (and spectators) how to display appropriate conduct and sportsmanship. Sportsmanship is a display of respect for the rules of sport and for all others. It also involves a commitment to fair play, ethical behavior, and integrity.
To participate in E.L. Haynes athletics, each student athlete must have:
A minimum grade point average of 2.0 in every class.
Current School Physical Exam and doctor’s permission.
Uniform deposit of $25-$100 depending on the sport, to be refunded when uniform is returned.
