Middle School Black History Month Celebration

Theater Performance & Talk Back (January 31, from 10-11 a.m.): Middle School students will usher in the month’s celebrations with “Bright Before Us Like a Flame”, a theater performance of poems by Langston Hughes and original student poems. The performance will be followed by a 15-minute discussion with student performers, as well as post-performance workshops in individual classrooms. 

Middle School Celebration & Performances: February 28, 9- 12 p.m.

  • 6th Grade: 9- 10 a.m.
  • 7th Grade: 10- 11 a.m.
  • 8th Grade: 11- 12 p.m.
