Founded as the first year-round school in Washington, DC, E.L. Haynes offers year-round programs, including before-and after-school programming, as well as Intersession programming during our breaks throughout the year.
Hours of Operation
Middle School Clubs and Activities: Monday-Friday 7:30-8:30 AM; and 4:15-6:00 PM
Intersession: 8:30 AM-4:15 PM; Extended day is also available during intersession.
Note: Due to building closures in response to COVID-19, we are offering modified extended-day and extended-year programming virtually.
Cost and Enrollment
There is no cost for middle school students to participate in clubs and activities. Additionally, there is no cost for students selected to play on competitive athletics teams. Intersession registration is handled separately. Intersession fees are based on your child’s lunch status and are separate from before- and after-school program fees.
