E.L. Haynes offers an Out of School Time (OST) program for students in grades PK3 through grade 8, designed to be a safe, enriching environment. The program is directed by school administration and staffed with Haynes employees.
This year, we’re thrilled to offer new clubs, exciting enrichment opportunities, and engaging experiences designed to make every afternoon fun, meaningful, and memorable. Whether your child enjoys STEAM, sports, or discovering new interests, there’s something for everyone!

Offerings, Fees, and Billing
Program Start Dates
To align with E.L. Haynes’ staggered school opening schedule, OST services will begin on the following dates:
- Kindergarten–5th Grade: Monday, August 24
- Pre-K 3–4 & Pre-K 4–5: Monday, August 31
Before Care
- Available every school day from 7:00 AM-8:15 AM (excluding Professional Development Days)
- Cost: $5.00 per day
After Care
- Available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and specified Professional Development Days
- August–December: $11.00 per day
- January–June: $15.00 per day
Early Dismissal Wednesdays
- Available every Wednesday from 1:30 PM-6:00 PM
- Cost: $25.00 per day
Professional Development (PD) Days
When school is closed for E.L. Haynes Professional Development, OST will offer full-day programming from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM on the following dates:
- October 8 & 9
- November 20
- January 29
- March 12
The fee for full-day programming is $40.00 per day, which includes both the full-day program and aftercare services for that day.
Discounts & Financial Assistance
To help make OST accessible for all families, we offer the following discounts and financial assistance opportunities:
Financial Assistance: To see if you’re eligible for OSSE’s Subsidy Program, please set up an appointment here.
Sibling Discount: Families with more than one child enrolled in OST receive a 25% discount on sibling fees.
Our Before Care and After Care programs operate on a drop-in billing model, meaning you are only charged when your child uses the service. There is no requirement to attend every day, giving families the flexibility to use OST as needed.

If you recently submitted updated documents for Camp Haynes and those documents are still current, you may simply re-upload the same documents during OST registration. There is no need to complete new forms unless your information has changed or your documents have expired.
Submitting all required documents at the time of registration will help ensure a smooth enrollment process.
How to Register
- To register, go to the EZChildTrack Haynes site and select the green “Sign Up” button in the middle of the screen for Existing Parents (we have already created your E.L. Haynes account). For Spanish, select the gray “Español” button in the upper right corner.
- Enter your email address.
- After entering your email address, you will get an email with the subject line, “EZChildTrack Parent Portal Sign up,” with a link to the site and a temporary password. If you don’t receive the email, please check your spam or junk mail, or try using another email address that your family is using for communication with the school. Contact our data team for help at datateam@elhaynes.org.
- Once you finish completing your portal account, return to the EZChildTrack Haynes login page, and enter your new credentials in the blue box on the left to log in.
- Once in your portal, in the purple box on the left side, select “Register” to register your child in either the elementary or middle school program. Follow the instructions: update the data and add information where needed.
- Once complete, select “Enroll” to apply for our various program sign-up opportunities.
- After saving and submitting your enrollment application, our staff will review your application and adjust the fee if your family qualifies for the voucher program administered through OSSE. If you believe that you qualify for the voucher program, please contact us.
