Ciarra Neal, Dean of Culture, was born and raised in Washington, DC and attended DC Public Schools. She started her career in education as an AmeriCorps member and continued in the nonprofit sector until transitioning to DC Public Charter Schools. She served as a Discipline Specialist at DC International School for three years and as Behavior Intervention Coordinator at E.L. Haynes for two years before becoming Dean of Culture. She holds a degree in Mass Communications from Virginia State University. She is committed to building a restorative, inclusive culture for students and families.
